The seventh client development trip November 9th through 23rd as part of the cooperation between The Vilamar and Guliana LLP and Procopé & Hornborg was a huge success! The trip included a visit to JAMK University and Turku Science Park to lecture on innovation including IPR issues with video gaming technologies and Maximizing IPR including a case study regarding the bad things that can happen when valuable technology is not protected. Mr. Villamar also attended the Slush start up event hosted by the Aalto University Entrepreneurial Society with hundreds of the world’s top start ups in attendance. Many more new Finnish start ups, universities and incubators are now on the horizon and with further trips to other technical hubs in Finland planned for the near future, including a trip to attend the Polar Bear Pitching event in Oulu February 25th.
