The eighth client development trip February 22nd through March 1st as part of the cooperation between The Vilamar and Guliana LLP and Procopé & Hornborg was a huge success! The trip included visits and lectures at University of Oulu and the university entrepreneurship hub, Business Kitchen, on innovation including Intellectual Property Rights Protection & Related Topics. Mr. Villamar trained for and attended the Polar Bear Pitching 2015 event in Oulu on February 25th and you can see him get in the ice hole at 48:00. Mr. Villamar also is working with start ups on a start up idea, OU812, to try to get the venture capitalists in the ice hole in 2016. As part of the Polar Bear training, Mr. Villamar participated in the 2015 Maryland Polar Bear Plunge to benefit the Special Olympics and went in the cold Chesapeake Bay water seven times, one for each donation.
